The golden eggs are placed within the pile of dragon eggs protected by the female nesting dragons during the first task. Ludo Bagman informs the champions that the golden eggs contain the key to the second task of the Tournament; the eggs have hinges which allow them to open to reveal the clue.

The catch at the top does not twist to reveal the three portions that open, to show the inner crystal bubbles that release a screeching sound and when you hold it underwater, plays the mermaid song… It does fit nicely on my shelf and it has a beautiful gold like shiny, shiny look – so if you are collecting gold decor or anything like that, then it would fit in perfectly Now this isn’t an unboxing, because I’ve had this prop for quite a while, but more of a close-up of the detail, so you can see what it looks like if you’re considering getting it…
